6. Log out of Apple ID. Open the Settings app > iTunes & App Stores > tap Apple ID and sign out.

7. Restore to factory settings. Open the Settings app > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.

8. Unregister your device at supportprofile.apple.com.

9. Call your carrier and ask them to disassociate the device from your account. Some important numbers: Sprint: 1-800-SPRINT1; AT&T: 1-800-331-0500; Verizon: 1-800-VERIZON; T-Mobile: 1-800-T-MOBILE.

An important tip! Whatever you do, don't manually delete contacts, photo streams, calendars, or reminders while logged in to your iCloud account. This will also delete the content from the iCloud servers and your iCloud-connected devices (like your iPad or laptop).

Another important tip! If your phone accidentally runs out of battery during the "restore to factory settings" step, use iTunes to erase data. Connect the device to your computer, then restore the backup. Connect your phone to power, go to Settings app > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings again.

OK, but seriously, this is the last important tip! You can erase your device remotely. If you set up Find My iPhone, sign into icloud.com/#find, then click on All Devices and select the phone you want to erase. In the info window, click "Erase iPhone." You'll need to enter your Apple ID password.

This article mainly teach you how to remove Apps Caches from iPhone permanently,so that speed up your slow iPhone.

Apps on mobile devices tend to occupy a lot of space over time. With every bit of use, these apps accumulate huge chunks of data, some of which become useless (junk) as time goes by. But it’s not recommended to keep them (app cache, cookies, temporary files, log files, etc.) on mobile devices because of their limited storage, especially when the available space tends to be low.

How to erase junk files from iPhone

On iOS, junk files are cleaned up automatically when the device nears its storage limit. However, you might want to clean up these files manually for maintenance purposes. Here are a few tips that will help you to remove unnecessary app data without jailbreaking your iOS device, and thus, free storage space on iPhone and other iOS devices.

Apps accumulate a lot of data over the course of time with usage. This data can be regarded as non-critical, since it can be easily regenerated. However, this data also includes files that store unsaved progress in apps. Deleting such files may thus remove any unsaved tasks from your device.

Such data may be classified into four broad categories:

Cache: Apps often store data locally from where it can be quickly fetched. This locally stored data is known as cache. Data which is not present in cache need to be read from the original source, which usually takes longer compared to accessing data from the cache. Cache files help to improve app performance, but occupy a considerable part of the device storage over time.

Cookies: A cookie is a piece of data stored on your device that helps to maintain the app state and its connection with the server. Cookies store information about your login, preferences and other personal data. They also help maintain the user sessions within apps.

Error Logs: In the event of an app crash or an error, logs are created that record the incident. These logs may be helpful to developers for debugging purposes to find out the cause of the crash event.

Temp Files: Apps create temporary files during their operation. These files are rarely used afterwards and some of them remain on your device.

Clean up junk data from app settings

Some apps on iOS allow you to perform clean up of app cache, cookies, temporary files, etc.  For example, most web browsers for iOS have the option to clear cache and cookies in the respective app settings. If you want to know how to clean up cache and cookies from popular iOS web browsers, check out this page. Some other apps also provide similar clean up options. But you need to manually check them since the availability and position of such options varies among different apps.

This allows developers to create apps for memory management, which can clear data from apps, much like the ones found on Android. One of the easier ways to clear an app’s “Documents & Data”, is to uninstall the particular app and then re-install it again. The freshly installed app won’t contain any additional (junk) data.
